Understanding the Exam Metrics

- Net WPM: This is the speed after deducting errors. Formula:
Gross WPM - (Errors / Time). This is usually the final score considered for selection. - Accuracy: High accuracy is crucial. Many exams disqualify candidates with accuracy below 90% or 95%, regardless of speed.
Tips for High Speed in Hindi
- Use the Right Layout: Ensure you are practicing on the layout (Inscript vs. Remington) required by your specific exam notification.
- Focus on 'Matras': Hindi words are constructed with complex combinations of half-characters and matras. Practice these combinations specifically.
- Rhythm: Maintain a steady pace. Pausing to think about a character layout kills your WPM more than slow typing does.
